Journal of Applied Hermeneutics – The Force that Holds Us Together as Fields of Energy

The sorcerers of ancient Mexico maintained that the performance of magical passes leads the body to a transcendental realization: that as conglomerates of energy fields, human beings are held together by a vibratory, agglutinating force. Don Juan Matus emphasized that the performance of the magical passes was the only means to become fully conscious of that vibratory binding force.

His contention was that this vibratory force is similar to what astronomers believe happens at the core of galaxies. Don Juan said that the sorcerers of ancient times knew that human beings are held together by a vibration that renders everything at once alive and in place.

Don Juan explained that those sorcerers became capable of handling that vibratory force once they were fully conscious of it. For instance, they were capable of dissolving their physical mass by placing their full consciousness and intent on that force. Their discontent, however, was that once their mass was dissolved, so was their capacity to act, which led to a damning flaw: an obsession with controlling the force.

Modern-day practitioners have opted to become conscious of that force with no other purpose than the elegance and well-being brought about by knowledge. The only permissible use for this force, according to don Juan, was its capacity to make sorcerers burn from within when the time comes for them to leave this world.
